Deus Ex on Wii U Adds Dev Commentary, Better Boss Fights
The exclusive Wii U content in Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut won’t find its way onto other platforms, according to game designer Emile Pedneault. Speaking to PAR, Pedneault explained numerous new features for the “ultimate” edition of Human Revolution.
So what exactly is everyone else missing out on?
The most interesting feature isn’t Deus Ex’s improved boss fights — more options, both in terms of exploration and objects, aim to fix past problems. It’s the eight hours of developer commentary, an optional narration over Deus Ex as you play, that has me most excited to replay the role-playing game.
In addition, you’ll be able to drop images and audio into the Miiverse for friends to find — Infologs, Eidos calls them — should they require any assistance or extra info. Alternatively, you can refer to an in-game strategy guide for additional tips.
